VCAL Showcase

This fortnight in VCAL has been a busy one as we prepare for the VCAL showcase on Thursday 27 June.  This year is the first year we will be hosting the VCAL showcase and it will be an excellent opportunity for all our VCAL students to display and speak about their work from the past semester.

VCAL Enrichment Day

On Monday 17 June, the VCAL students made their way via public transport to Melbourne Zoo. This excursion formed part of Matilda’s individual project where she encouraged students to investigate and report back on different endangered species. Students thoroughly enjoyed the ability to find out more about animals they haven’t previously encountered.

After the Zoo, the class ventured back to the city to participate in an escape room challenge, organised by Chloe. All three groups used their problem solving and communication skills to solve all the puzzles and clues to escape, despite some surprises along the way!
