SCHOOL INFORMATION

STUDENTS WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Parents are reminded to advise the school of any change in diagnosis and treatment of their child’s medical conditions immediately.
Any student who has to take special medication at school should lodge the medication with the school first aid staff, Rondahe Lomas or Jan Osborn. This medication can then be given and monitored by sick bay staff when needed.
ABSENCE LINE
Parents and Guardians are asked to ring the school Absence Line (9735 5644, Option 1) before 9.30 am to advise a student absence or late arrival.
The student name, form group and the reason for absence/late arrival should be advised. An absence note is then not required.
The school should also be advised if a student is expected to be absent for more than two days.
A school SMS MESSAGE will be sent to parents, when a student has been marked NOT PRESENT for Form Assembly, Periods 1 and 2.
MYKI CARDS - BUS TRAVEL
All students are reminded, it is important to always touch on and off on every trip with Myki cards. This includes using the pre-paid Myki pass (weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly).
Please note; that a Myki card that cannot be touched on OR has not been touched on for any reason is not valid for travel. Travelling without a valid Myki is fare evasion and could result in the issuance of an infringement notice.
COMPASS SCHOOL PORTAL
Parents and guardians who have not received their username and password, should contact the relevant Sub School Office.
PARENT CONTACT DETAILS
The school has an extensive list of parent’s mobile numbers and email addresses; however, we would like to make sure our records are fully up-to-date. Please check that your number and email address are correct via the Compass portal.
Thank you for your assistance and co-operation.
