New School Logo
As parents are aware, West Beach Primary School is in the process of updating our school logo as part of our efforts to improve the branding of our school.
Students R-7 have been actively engaged in this process of re-designing our school logo. SRC representatives have led discussions at class meetings, discussed design options at SRC meetings and have also worked closely with Argon Designs (a professional design company). Three senior students attended a workshop at Argon Designs and collaboratively developed two terrific logo designs as part of the workshop.
After seeking feedback from students Governing Council and SRC have now selected the four designs which the entire school community will now vote upon.
Voting process
Each student will vote once - this vote will be conducted by classroom teachers during week 4 or 5
Each family will receive one ‘family vote’ – this vote needs to be placed in the voting box in the front office by 9:30am on Friday May 29th
Each staff member will receive one vote – this vote needs to be placed in the voting box in the front office by 9:30am on Friday May 29th
The winning logo will be announced at a special assembly on Monday June 1st.
