Principal's Report

Dear families,

I hope you all had a lovely long weekend, enjoyed the perfect weather, and had a chance to relax and refresh with family and friends. Our house was a hive of activity as we had the family over for Peter’s birthday. 

PARENTS & FRIENDS MEETING

Our P&F will have the AGM on Monday night 21st March at 7pm in the Central learning Street. Any interested parents are very welcome to attend. 

AROUND THE CLASSROOMS

At the beginning of each day students across the school participate in a variety of reading activities.

HARMONY DAY - MONDAY MARCH 21ST

Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It is about inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for all. The official colour for Harmony Day is orange and all children are encouraged to wear something orange on the day.

PARENT/STUDENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS

Thank you to all the families who took up the opportunity to have an interview with their child’s teacher. Having a strong home-school partnership is so important for your child’s education. 

SHEPPARTON BRASS AND WIND

Shepparton Brass and Wind are coming to Toolamba on Sunday, 27th March 2022 from

2:30pm to 4:15pm. The project aims to deliver entertainment beyond Shepparton’s main performing arts centres and directly into local halls and smaller communities. Shepparton Brass and Wind has up to 30 members aged from 10 to 70 and performs regularly in the community at a variety of festivals and events. The band is always looking for new players. Many previous members have gone on to become professional musicians. Bring the family and be invigorated by the experience of a live brass band for only the cost of a gold coin donation!
