Sustainability

Today students at Old Orchard were involved in Step up! Clean Up! day.  Staff and students counted and sorted rubbish. They sorted it into piles of soft plastic rubbish, hard plastic rubbish, landfill rubbish and paper waste.   

Thank you to the office staff who counted the office waste, aides who counted the staffroom waste, specialist teachers who counted their room's waste, including Janet in the Library. 

Big thank you to Pip who counted the outside bin waste. We will collate this data and share it with you next week.

In conjunctions with Step Up! Clean Up! Old Orchard's Big Write was about sustainability.
