2022 PFA Committee
On Tuesday night the PFA Annual General Meeting was held and a new executive team was appointed.
As the outgoing Executive team, Raquel, Lourdes, Elena and Shivanthi, would like to sincerely thank the SFS community for their endless support throughout our 3 year tenure. Without your help and support we would not have been able to achieve the successes we did. Despite the obstacles in 2021, as a community, we were able to achieve the following:
- Sports Day Sausage Sizzle: 6 March 2021. Over 400 sausages cooked and served to students and staff
- Subway Fun Lunch, March and November – total profit: $612
- Hot Cross Bun fundraising drive. Profit: $430
- Annual Colour Run. Amount raised: $6,350.
- Easter raffle – over 70 prizes. Raised: $1,000 for Monash Children’s Hospital
- Bunnings BBQ fundraiser – total profit $1,446
- Mother’s Day morning tea, stall & raffle. 47 prizes. $1,100 raised for Cancer Council
- Specialist Day Pizza fun lunch
- First Eucharist cupcakes
- Crazy Hair / Socks / Dress day with free icy poles for the kids. $242 raised for Save the Children.
- Subway fun lunch
Whilst we have ended our tenure as executive team, we will continue our involvement in the PFA, as general members and welcome all parents to join us in the general committee.
It is a rewarding experience and many great friendships can be formed. We extend a warm welcome the 2022 PFA executive team and wish them well in 2022.

Shrove Tuesday – Tuesday 1st March
Thank you to all the parents who responded to the Operoo notice regarding Pancake Day, we look forward to cooking up some deliciously, fluffy pancakes for the kids to enjoy. We do recommend that your child still bring their lunch on this day, as each child will receive their pancake before first lunch.
Afternoon Tea is back!
Finally we can gather once more!
The first PFA afternoon tea of 2022 will be held in the community room at 2:30 on Friday 4th March.
All parents and carers are invited to come join us for light refreshments and a cuppa. Old families, new families ... we’d love to see you all there.
The second hand uniform shop will also be open at this time. All uniform is only $5 each. Just a reminder that second hand uniform shop is cash only.
The annual SFS Twilight Sports Carnival will be held on Thursday 10th March. PFA will be looking for volunteers to assist with this event. Watch this space for further details. A reminder that all volunteers will need to be fully vaccinated and have a valid working with children's check.
