Student Leaders

Year 5 and 6 students were given the opportunity to apply to be Para Vista's Student and Play Time leaders. Students were given a set criteria and had to produce an application based on that criteria. 

Two leadership members were on the panel and went through all applications and created a shortlist. The shortlisted students then had their referees contacted.

We thank and congratulate all students for applying in this process.

Each day during play break times student groups will be running play activities, such as sports games, crafts in the library, Friday radio show, borrowing sports equipment and many more.

The younger students at Para Vista have been enjoying interacting with our leaders and are looking forward to the games and activities next term.

Student Volunteers

We thank the students who have been working in the canteen at lunch times.

Breakfast club - we are needing two students per day to help in the breakfast club, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's. We open around 8:20am-8:30am. If you are at school by this time and would like to help out on a certain day please see Lisa McMahon. We are hoping to have a roster where the same two students help each day . If we have a large interest we can change the roster each term.

Thank you to our Flag monitors in V20 for Term 1. V21 will be the new flag monitors in term 2.

SAPSASA

Congratulations to the SAPSA netball team on 4 wins out of 6 games in a high division. Great effort! 

Thanks to Mr. Ben for all his hard work in training the team!

Communication

School communication is via Edmodo, Facebook, email and phone, as well as face to face when possible.

For absenteeism, we ask that you contact the front office.  Class teacher emails have also been provided to follow up on individual issues. Please do not use Edmodo messages to ask teachers to follow up on individual student issues or to report absences as these have to be documented appropriately. Please refrain from sending out of hours messages and emails to teachers and Leadership as we cannot guarantee a response after 5pm. Urgent matters should be communicated to the Front Office between 8am and 4pm and will be responded to promptly.

Change of Details

Please advise the school via email if your circumstances have changed e.g. a change of email, phone number or emergency contact.

If you have changed address, please supply a copy of your updated address, either with a bill, council rate or rental agreement. 

Address details can only be changed with documentation.
