Harmony Day was a great success despite being unable to have Kaboom visit our school. Instead, teachers created their own Kaboom style activities for our students to enjoy. Thanks to our staff for their ability to exercise great flexibility at such short notice.

As you can see from the above images, the students participated in both outdoor and indoors activities promoting harmony and diversity of our school community. Our diversity of culture and faith makes our school the perfect environment to promote tolerance, acceptance and harmony.

Swimming Program

Our Swimming Program at The Swim Factory commenced this week with our Year 3-6 students having lots of fun in the water and learning new life skills.

Here are some of the students' comments and images for you to enjoy.

Swimming is lots of fun - Chieng

I am learning lots about swimming - Jasmin

I am enjoying using the kickboards - Isabella

Volunteer Workshop

With so many events now occurring at school and our ability to engage volunteers, I will be conducting Volunteer Workshops for you to attend. A letter was shared with families last week, inviting parents and family members to attend this week's workshops.  Thank you to those parents and family members who already attended.

The date and times for the final workshop are Thursday 24th March at 9a.m and 2:45p.m.

If you have already attended a workshop last year, you will not be required to attend another one this year as attendance is only required every alternate year. If you are unsure if you attended a workshop last year, just contact me via email or phone and I can check the register.

Please remember to be an eligible volunteer you need to have a current Working With Children Check Card as well as a Vaccination Certificate showing evidence of three doses.

I look forward to seeing you at these workshops.
