Inquiry Learning Farm to Plate - Year 1/2s

In the Year 1/2s this week we asked students -

‘Why do you think it’s a good idea to try and grow your own food?’

 1. It costs no money to grow your own food                                      .

 2. There are no pesticides used when you grow your own food.

 3. It’s bad for the planet if you buy it from the shops                       

 4. It costs less to buy a seed.

 5. It takes more time to go to the shops than to walk to your garden

These are great reasons to try and grow some of your own food !
