Hi, I'll be teaching Foundation in English and French. I've been teaching at Fitzroy Primary for 4 years and I am also the French co-ordinator.

Hi Families! I will be teaching English in 1/2 with Elodie. My other roles include looking at the student learning data across the school and taking students for literacy support. I am looking forward to a great year!-Jasna

My name is Julia and I am teaching the English program in 1/2JL with Lorna. This is my first year teaching in a bilingual classroom and I am super excited to be a part of the program. I have a Master of Education degree in Literacy and love teaching and working with children. I am looking forward to a year of fun and learning with our class. -Julia

I am the Numeracy Specialist and the Grade 3 teacher. I have had many roles at the school since I started in 2006 and enjoy a dynamic and enthusiastic class.-Nick
Bonjour FPS! I am very excited to be your French Grade 3 teacher this term. I am already getting to know all the students in 3NH and am really enjoying seeing how much speaking, reading and writing all the children are doing in French in our classroom. I am the classroom teacher for Year 4A! I have been at Fitzroy Primary since 2017 and have enjoyed every minute of it! We have such a wonderful school community at Fitzroy and I hope to be able to help it grow in the coming years!

My name is Camelia. I am the year 5 and 6 teacher this year. I will be team teaching with Michael Keirs for the duration of term 1. I am in charge of the year 6 transition to high school as well as booking the year 3-6 camp later in the year. -Camelia
My name is Michael and I am the PE teacher as well team teaching with Camelia in 5/6 C. I have worked in Primary & Secondary schools here and overseas. Looking forward to another year at FPS.-Michael
Stem & Kitchen Garden-Vicki & Robbie
I have been teaching at FPS for almost 30 years and have enjoyed a variety of roles here. Four years ago I was lucky enough to start the STEM program and share my passion with the students here. This year I am looking forward to my new role with Robbie in the Kitchen Garden Program. Outside of school I am a busy grandma to twins and fur mum to Sunday the Siamese.-Vicki
I have been teaching Environmental Science as a Specialist subject at a school of 1600 in Melbourne’s West the last 11 years. I am excited to be teaching STEM and Kitchen Garden with Vicki this year and thrilled to be at Fitzroy Primary. I’ve a passion for connecting students to the environment and taking action to protect it. I love being outdoors and enjoy camping, birdwatching, and canoeing with my family.-Robbie
Performing Arts-Bryce
I am the Performing Arts teacher at Fitzroy Primary School. I studied contemporary music at the Victorian College of the Arts and playing music continues to be a big part of my life. I play French horn, guitar, tenor banjo, ukulele and I also sing. I am an outdoor enthusiast and love riding my bike both in nature and to school! -Bryce

I have been appointed the position as the tutor for the tutoring program for 2022. I will also be working alongside Andrea Hennessey, Assistant Principal as a part of the Wellbeing Team to implement Mental Health in Primary Schools Program.-Amy

I'm very excited to be working alongside Alex as Education Support in year 4. My interests are cooking , music, camping with my kids , beach life and arts. I have 2 dogs, a cat and a little girl in year 1.

My name is Maria and I am a Brazilian theatre maker, clown and drama teacher. I am studying to become a teacher in Australia. It is a great honour to support students and teachers through their learning journey at FPS.-Maria

My name is Yves and I’m from a little village in the southeast of France called Dieulefit. I moved to Melbourne 7 years ago with my beautiful wife, Amy, and we now have a beautiful nearly 2-year-old son named Felix. I love travelling, food and football (soccer for some)
School Community Liaison Officer-Badria & Fardowsa
I am the SCLO at Fitzroy Primary School and Collingwood College working on implementing the Victorian African Communities Action Plan (VCAP) supporting families together with Fardowsa. I organize the Parent group and support the BSL After School Program at FPS.
I am the SCLO at Thornbury High School & Fitzroy PS working on implementing the VACAP to support the school community and staff. I have worked as an SCLO in the Department Of Education for 2 years and will work alongside Badria in supporting families at Fitzroy Primary School.-Fardowsa
