HUMAN LITERACY

CELEBRATING GROWTH

At Maramba, as a school community we have made a very strong and positive start to our year.  Always working towards empowering our students to use their ‘voice’ and become actively involved in all aspects of their learning.  Our focus through Human Literacy sessions and ongoing learning points and ‘check ins’ throughout the week is to grow the student’s skills of deep level thinking, communicating, being creative, working collaboratively, responding to feedback and learning to reflect on their work, actions and learning.

Anchoring this approach to our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Relationships and Resilience; every day, we are looking for learning readiness and growth in each of our students.

Almost a month into our school year, so much is occurring in our classrooms we are proud of.  Many and varied important moments, we definitely think they are worth celebrating!

Every day at school provides an opportunity – at Maramba as a school community we always aim to be the best we can be. We know that our growth journey is continuous.  Our commitment to each other, will help us all achieve.

Here is a snapshot of our growth in our first four weeks of Term 1. Enjoy!
