Prep News

We are authors!

The Prep students have been buzzing with excitement this term as they worked hard on becoming authors. They wrote class books about the different shapes they could find in their classrooms and went on a number hunt around TPPS to find the numbers 0-20. They even found Mr Cleary standing on the number nine!

Their books also featured information about what they like to do in the Prep playground. Climbing, sliding and digging were some of their favourite activities. Once they finished publishing their class books, they were able to take them home and share them with their families.

Grade 3 Writing with Mrs Barry

Last week in the newsletter some wonderful Grade 3 writing pieces were published. I would like to share the following pieces by Elli and Willow to correct an error I made. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge how respectful both student’s were when alerting me to my error and thank them for their effort during our sessions.

Cara Barry – Grade 3 TLI

Milo crashed down, falling head first onto the floor. He was trying so desperately to get his slobbery mouth to the tasty meat! He scratched the surface of the floorboards with his sharp paws as he scurried. Elli C - 3K

Bowie jumped into the deep pool with a crash! Swimming to the rough, slippery pool steps was taking her what felt like forever, she had to get back on the pool edge. Bowie was soaked as she pulled herself to safety. Willow C – 3K
