Harmony Day

Albanvale Primary school is lucky and proud to have such a diverse combination of backgrounds, languages and cultures represented in our school community. One way that we can celebrate our uniqueness together, is through Harmony Day.

Harmony Day will be celebrated on Monday, 20th of March. This year’s theme is Everybody Belongs and celebrates multiculturism and diversity in our community.

Students will be completing activities in the classroom, which will then be shared during a special assembly at 2:45pm on Monday afternoon.

We encourage children to wear clothing significant to their culture or alternatively, the colour orange, as this colour represents Harmony. This is not a casual clothes day, and open toe shoes are not permitted.

Parents and families are encouraged to join us at our assembly. We hope to see you there.
