CAREERS

REMINDER

LHS School Careers Website

The Lilydale High School Careers Website (available on the school website, under Our School) contains a large amount of information and should be your first stop when you are looking for information on anything job, careers, university and TAFE related (and there is so much more).

The site has a specific area where students can log into and complete skills and interest tests.

Parents and Carers are welcome to contact the school and arrange a careers interview with a Career Practitioner (Tim or Kristy) if your child is experiencing difficulties and needs assistance in succeeding at school, completing their schooling to the highest level possible (Year 10 as a minimum) and in gathering information about potential careers.

Morrisby Career Testing

On Monday,  our Year 9 students completed a series of questionnaires and quizzes accessed through the Morrisby website and discussed their results with a Morrisby-trained Careers Consultant in a 30-minute interview.

My Career Insights helps students discover, develop and drive their career planning.  It is a unique opportunity for students to learn more about their strengths and abilities while exploring potential career options giving them the confidence to start taking control of their future.

This program will also assist students with their Year 10 Course selection later in the year.
