VCE OUTDOOR AND ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
Wilsons Promontory Camp
21 March to 24 March
The Outdoor and Environmental Studies students visited Wilsons Promontory for their 2nd camp this year.
On Tuesday, students spent the afternoon in Tidal River learning about historical users of the National Park, how to safely plan and prepare for adventurous journey’s, and also the ways Parks Victoria manage the land for both human and ecological needs.
On Wednesday, the students set-off for a 3-day, 2-night hike and stayed at Oberon Bay and Little Waterloo Bay. It was a challenging but enjoyable experience as students were immersed in one of Victoria’s most pristine and unique environments.
A huge thank you to Catherine Edwards, Amber Engelhardt, and Ash Tilbury for assisting the students on a very enjoyable trip.
