Celebrate Mooroolbark Festival

Year 11 rock group, NËTA performed on stage as part of the 21st Birthday Celebrations for the Mooroolbark Community festival last Sunday.

Noah, Emmaline, Tom and Ayla, supported by our guitar teacher Frank, played 5 songs to an enthusiastic crowd of ‘fans’.

We look forward to seeing some more community and school performances from this very talented band.

The LHS Band will have their first public performance for the year at the Grade 6 Information Evening on, Thursday 27 April.

The band will perform before the formal information session in the Hall, then will participate in an open rehearsal in the Theatre.

Band members should check Compass and Google Classroom for more information.

Jazz Workshop

The Art of Jam is running again this year after a very successful workshop with professional jazz musicians, Poet Street in 2022. The workshop is designed to encourage confidence with improvisation and provides students the skills to openly express their creativity.

The event is open to all intermediate and advanced musicians. Please speak to your teacher or Ms Goode if you would like more information.

Funk Band

Our Funk Band enjoyed rehearsing Stevie Wonder's ‘Sir Juke’ with Ms Baird.  So good!
