Sport @ BRPS
5/6 Summer Interschool Sport
We have now come to the end of the Summer Interschool Sport Competition with our final matches against Brighton last Friday.
All students competed each week with enthusiasm, maximum effort and great sportsmanship.
Congratulations to the Open Basketball Team who won all of their games and have now qualified for the Division Finals in Term 4. The Girls Basketball team also went undefeated however with one draw to add to their six wins, will need to wait for further results before either a playoff game or an invitation to the Division Finals.
Students in Years 5 and 6 have now been placed in a Winter Interschool Sport team with that competition to begin in Week 2 of Term 2. The sports available to the students were Soccer, Aussie Rules, Netball, Hockey, Softball and Handball.
