Parents & Friends' (PFA)

Wow, where has the term gone?  Term 1 felt jam packed at school from Picnic on the green, Dads' day out, Hot cross buns, Interschool swimming, Harmony Day, excursions and incursions and the Year 5/6 Camp.  Thank you to the teaching staff who went on the Grade 5/6 camp to Sovereign Hill. Unfortunately no one struck gold so they all had to return to their day jobs :) We have heard so many positive stories from the kids.

There’s still a fair bit happening over the next few weeks.

Easter Raffle

Thank you to those who have donated goodies for the Easter Raffle. Please drop any donations (chocolates, boxes, baskets, bowls) at the school office by Monday 3rd April.

Tickets are due back Thursday 6 April. The raffle will be drawn on the last day of term which is always a massive highlight (and chocolate high!) for the kids.

A big thank you to the Year 3/4TB class liaisons, Fiona and Sandra, (and their support crew)  for organising the Hot cross bun orders and Easter raffle.

Bunnings BBQ

We have been lucky enough to score another gig at Bunnings on Sunday 30 April. This will be our biggest fundraising event for the year. As always it takes a village so we need many volunteers to help run the BBQ on the day. An email will be sent out with more information and volunteers will be fully briefed on their duties. To volunteer for a shift please book at https://www.trybooking.com/CHFQI

Cake Raffle

The new roster system has been running smoothly. Thanks to families who have baked cakes this term. Due to the end of term, the cake raffle next week will be on Thursday. The deliciousness continues in Term 2.

PFA Meeting

Please join us at the next PFA Meeting at 7.30pm Tuesday 2 May. The meeting will be online and all are very, very welcome. Meeting details will be sent closer to the date.

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable school holiday. See you in Term 2.

Regards,

Rosaline, Matt and the PFA Committee
