To celebrate International Women's Day on 8th March, four GEC Alumni facilitated positive and proactive conversations about the support of women and minority groups in society.

Fleetwood Seager and Jordon Timmons (Class of 2016) connected with twenty Year 9 and10 boys to discuss the meaning of gender equality and what actions students can take to foster a supportive school environment.

Fellow GEC alumni, Vita Meekel (Class of 2019) and Leah Hain (Class of 2017) had a very meaningful session with twenty girls from Year 7-12, to discuss how they can feel more empowered in the education environment.

A big thank you to these very generous and inspiring alumni for giving back to their old school in such a meaningful way.
