Students have researched the indigenous flora of Australia and designed and printed a lino print based on the style of Australian artist Margaret Preston. The art elements of line, texture, colour and shape are explored. Students have hand coloured their lino prints with watercolour.
Mouse Maze
Year 8 students had to design a maze that an imaginary mouse could run along using Isometric Projection. They then had to render these three-dimensional forms.
Year 9 Art
Architectural Studio Design
Year 9 students had to design a studio for “Kids Under Cover”. The studio had to suit a sixteen-year-old and was to be no larger than 18 square metres. They applied architectural drawing conventions to produce a floor plan. The students then produced a three-dimensional exterior of their studio design within an environment. The digital work was created using SketchUp for Schools.
