Gardening

This month in gardening children have been preparing beds and planting out crops for the warmer weather, such as tomatoes, beans, marigolds and basil. Utilising our broad bean harvest we made and tasted a delicious broad bean dip with crackers.

Students have been learning to use jewellers loups as a magnifying tool to observe the natural world.

We were delighted to be successful in receiving a $5000 Junior Landcare grant, which will help manage weeds, irrigate, and plant our Woiwurrung weaving and dreaming garden!

If you would like to volunteer to help in the garden please reach out to Emily 🙂
