KINDER EXCURSION: SPRING PICNIC

By Jane Bartholomeusz (Kinder Educator)

On Tuesday the 8th of November our kinder group and our wonderful kinder helpers set off for a very exciting bus trip to the Belgrave Heights Convention Center. We travelled  the long way through Belgrave. There was a lot of excited chatter and laughter especially when the bus went around corners. The children were eager to tell others when they recognised familiar landmarks and where they live.

When we arrived we went for a walk to explore the area. The children then practiced their balancing, climbing and swinging skills on the play equipment. This was followed by a a picnic morning tea including a Teddy Bear biscuit and then another exciting trip back to kinder!

It was a beautiful sunny day and great opportunity to enjoy our local community and experience nature.

SHARING THE LOVE!

Generous hearts and willing hands once again from our incredible 'Pulse' parents group! Donating and packing just over 400 little packets of love to send to some of our northern Victorian Christian schools, who remain severely impacted by the recent floods.

A tiny gesture of support from our community to theirs. And all from the hearts of our BHCS parents. Thank you Pulse - you guys are awesome!

SCIENCE CLUB

By Jackie Eastwood (Science Coordinator)

Some of our Year 4-6 students who attend science club had a wonderful time making a giant marble run in middle school out of cut up pool noodles.

We had 3 different runs going, one was even around the climbing frame. It was great to see the students problem solving and working together to make these excellent creations.
