Vocational Major Update

Dear Parents and Carers,

Congratulations to all 2022 Year 11 students on the completion of their practice job interviews and final presentations. The panel members were buzzing with the excellent standard set and the students should be proud of their efforts.

With Step Up starting next week we welcome a new group of students into the program and also a name change in line with the changes to the Victorian Senior Certificate. Assemblies will run for students next week explaining all key information in relation to work placement, VET and expectations at school. All students should come to school prepared to learn with a charged laptop and pens. 

VCE Parent Information Night for any parents who will have a student in Year 11 or 12 in 2023.This information session is for VCE Tertiary Pathway  and VCE Vocational Major families. This session will cover:

• Expectations
• SACs
• VET and work placement requirements for VM students
• Attendance
• Tips to be successful and support your students

Where: Senior Centre- 80 Warrandyte Road, Langwarrin.

Time: 5:45pm  – welcome and light refreshments.
