New Committee Members

Meet Alissa Young, a teacher at Hayes Elementary School and a new member of OGEA's Bargaining Team! 

What influenced you to join the Bargaining Committee?

I absolutely believe our bargaining team is such an essential part of OGEA. Over the past 7 years of being an OGEA member I have seen the hard work and dedication that is required of this committee. I am honored to know and be a part of this amazing process!

What goals have you and your committee set for this year?

Personally, my biggest goal as being a new member of the Bargaining Team is to learn as much as I can while gathering ideas and data that will prepare us for the future.

Any special interests or hobbies you'd like to share with OGEA?

In my free time I enjoy traveling internationally with my husband. My favorite part of travel is living like a local and embracing the cultures we encounter.
