Toby Salter (6 Riley)

Congratulations to Toby Salter who has been awarded The Fred Hollows Humanity Award.

This award recognises a Year 6 students who follows in Fred’s footsteps by making a positive difference in their community. It celebrates students who shows compassion, integrity and kindness in their everyday lives. In Term Three, a survey was conducted amongst the Year Six students asking who they felt would be a worthy nominee from Girton Grammar School. Toby Salter (6 Riley) was voted unanimously by his peers. Toby enacts these values daily. He is a friend to all, maintaining an excellent relationship with his peers across the cohort. 

Tate Cantwell (5 Millward)

Congratulations to Tate Cantwell for his placings in 2022 J.A Linacre Memorial Trophy Regatta at Cairn Curran recently.  Tate competed with his sister and dad in their yacht, Mudlark.  They had 8 races over three days with a 14 boat fleet.  They came first in the last leg and overall 3rd place. 

Sarah Witham (9 Millward)

Congratulations to Sarah Witham who has been selected to participate in the Curious Minds Camp, a STEM program for female students.  Sarah is one of 120 girls across Australia, selected to attend extension STEM workshops and activities and explore University campuses across 6 months.
