House Captains 

Hello everyone, we are the 2022 House Captains. As you may be aware we’re getting new sports uniform for our future Year 6 students. 

The purpose of this new sport uniform is to represent our school and participate in various sporting events with a new look.  We have created an AFL jersey, as the old one had our old logo as well as a regular sports uniform, which shows our passion and respect towards the students' various hobbies and talents.

The process was challenging and quite extensive but we helped each other all the way. We’re very proud that we took our time and implemented student voice to get the students idea of how they would like. After presenting to School Council, we got the approval we needed to go ahead to implement this initiative.

We appreciate all the support and help we have received; we couldn’t have done this without you. A very big thanks to Mr. Lewis, Ms. Krsteska, Mrs. Hassiotis and the School Council. We used student voice by asking Ms. Krsteska on how we can implement it. 

Mrs. Hassiotis was then able to print out the designs and give us feedback and feedforward as well as Mr. Lewis. We would also like to acknowledge Mr. Catalano who supported and encouraged us throughout this whole process. 

Thank you everyone and we hope 2023 students and all future GWPS students love the uniform.
