Learning Space 3 Juniors Incursion

Meet A Life Guard

The Juniors have been learning about Water Safety & on Monday we all went to Meet a Life Guard.  We learnt how to identify a rip in the water, to never swim alone, always swim with an adult & always swim between the flags.  We learnt that life guards are volunteers and about water currents and what to do if we get into trouble.  If we get into trouble we need to put our hand up and call out to someone for help.  This is why it is important to swim at a beach that has life guards.

Maths - learning the time

The Juniors in Learning Space 3 this week in Maths have been learning how to tell the time to the hour and half past the hour.  The students have had lots of fun creating their own clocks using a Hula Hoop, number cards and arrows for the hour and minute hand.
