Visual Arts

Our wonderful St James students were able to showcase their lovely artwork on the evening of the Carols performance. The students have responded creatively to a wide range of projects using mixed media across all levels. Many cultures of art were reflected with a stunning Italian Venetian display of masks and costumes. The show also included portraiture work inspired by Italian artist Modigliani .

Our middle students created some very bright Indigenous wall hangings, and the artshow also popped up pieces inspired by Pablo Picasso. Many students created artwork reflecting Christmas, as well as our lovely suburb of Brighton with its famous beachboxes and summer feels.

I would like to congratulate all the students on the wonderful work they were able to produce and display to our School Community. We really have some very talented artists in the mix!

I look forward to working with our beautiful children again next year.

Merry Christmas!

Warm regards,
