Student Leader's Report
Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks newsletter. The term has nearly come to an end, and everyone is getting excited for school holidays!
The grade 6’s have been working very hard for the preparation of their graduation. They are working on class and cohort dances, practicing speeches and rehearsing what the night will be like. Although the year 6’s will miss this great school they are excited for new opportunities and to find out what the future holds for them.
We are excited for the upcoming school Christmas carols picnic, they will be held on Friday the 16th of December here at Kismet on our basketball courts and turf. On the night there will be food trucks and performances from our students, there is also a BYO picnic. In Performing Arts all classes have been working hard on learning their year levels song, we can’t wait for the night to come.
Currently in maths the year 6’s have been working on identifying and measuring angles. They have to identify acute, right, obtuse, reflex, straight and revolution angles. They’ve learnt that angles are measured in degrees. They’ve also learnt how to measure an angle using a protractor.
Here are some upcoming dates in December that we are excited for:
- Salesian College transition Tuesday the 6th
- Swimming trials for grades 3, 4 and 5 Wednesday the 7th
- Sunbury College and Sunbury Downs transition Tuesday the 13th
- Graduation Thursday the 15th
- Grade 6 pool day Monday the 19th
- Last day of term 4 Tuesday the 20th
From your school captains,
Emily, Laneah, Genna and Olly.
