OUR EXPECTATION OF OUR STUDENTS
When you received the offer to attend the College, we asked that your child is made aware and agrees as part of their placement as a DAY or BOARDING STUDENT at the College, that it is compulsory and expected that they participate in specific College events such as; Open Day, Morning Milking, Weekend Stock, Student Dinner and other College organised events.
If they do not attend these events, their “Status” at the College maybe reviewed. This means they will not be able to participate in other enjoyable voluntary after hour activities' such as; College Ball, Country week, camps, etc.
TO STAY IN ON WEEKENDS
- Weekend Stock - students are required to stay in on the weekend of their allocated "Weekend Stock" roster. (This weekend stock consists of milking, feeding animals and general farm duties).
- Open Day - Another day our students are required to stay in on, is our annual Open Day. This is happening on Saturday the 25th May 2019. Students are asked to assist in the displaying of the College to the public.
- Closed weekends - a closed weekend happens once a term, where ALL students are required to go off site. This usually is either a state long weekend or one that the school has created as a "travel day".
- All other weekends - students have the opportunity to either stay on site or go home.
ACTIVITIES
In Term 1, all students are invited to attend a Busselton Camp over a weekend. This is a great opportunity for students to get to know each other and spend the weekend swimming, fishing or relaxing. It is for ALL DAY and BOARDING students.
The calendar is full of different events throughout the year. All students are encouraged to attend and get involved in such events such as WACoA (Sports Carnival), College Ball, College Dinner, movie nights etc.
A list of the events can be found on our Calendar.
