Our Fee's

The College Contribution and Charges (College Fee's) for 2019 are still to be approved by the College Board. Once this is completed, an electronic copy will be emailed out to parents around the middle of November.
TOTAL ANNUAL COSTS
Approximate total costs board/day fees: (this includes course, boarding and day student charges)
Boarding Students: $11000.00 of which $8685 is boarding fees (this amount is determined by the department of education)
Day Students: $ 3000.00 $840 is meal charges
(all students have a buffet lunch and day students are included in this – there is no need to bring a packed lunch).
Important note: These charges are compulsory and need to be paid in full each year to enable continuation at the College.
PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS
All course fees need to be paid in full on Enrolment Day.
Residential Boarding Fees are paid in three instalments;
Instalment 1 – due 4th February 2019 $2895
plus approx $2000 course fees (depending on the course selected)
Instalment 2 – due 29th April 2019 $2895
Instalment 3 – due 22nd July 2019 $2895
Day student meal charges are to be paid at the beginning of each semester.
Payment arrangements can be arranged with the Manager Corporate Services prior to the commencement of the school year.
Additional costs:
- Uniform approx. $1000 (paid directly to the supplier)
- Books/Stationary approx. $400 (paid directly to the supplier)
- Other optional costs for activities that may arise – eg: Countryweek, School Ball etc.
BOARDING AWAY FROM HOME ALLOWANCE – SPECIAL SUBSIDY ($1791)
This subsidy is applicable to all boarding students. It is not means tested and it doesn’t matter where you live (eg: if you live in Harvey and your child is boarding at the college, they are still entitled to the subsidy).
This subsidy is paid directly to the College and application forms can be obtained from the school office on enrolment day.
This subsidy is not available to students who are in receipt of the following:
- Assistance for Isolated Children (AIC)
- Youth Allowance at the Away From Home Rate
- Abstudy with full boarding paid by Centrelink
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SECONDARY ASSISTANCE SCHEME
(ALL STUDENTS)
The allowance consists of two components and is applicable to families who have a Centrelink health care card or pensioner concession card:
- $115 Clothing Allowance which can be paid to the college or parent/guardian
- $235 Education Program Allowance which is paid directly to the college and will be deducted from contributions and course charges.
Application forms are completed at the college in Term 1 each year with the closing date being the last day of term.
ASSISTANCE FOR ISOLATED CHILDREN (BOARDING STUDENTS)
- AIC aims to assist the families of primary, secondary and under 16 year old tertiary students who are unable to attend an appropriate government school on a daily basis because of geographic isolation.
- A student may be regarded as geographically isolated from appropriate schooling if one of the three rules are met. These can be found on the information sheet. The most common one is rule 1.
- Rule 1 – The distance between the principle family home and the nearest appropriate state school is at least 56 kms via the shortest practicable route.
- This financial assistance needs to be applied for through Centrelink. For more information please call Centrelink on 132318 and can be applied in October prior to the year of commencement.
