Bush Picnic & Dance Party

Let's celebrate our year together with a fantastic fun event for the whole school community. Saturday, November 30th, 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The fun includes:

• Bush band
• Twilight Disco
• Competitions

Come along and dine under the stars and our famous oak trees. BYO Picnic dinner or choose to purchase some of the yummy Wood-Fired Oven Pizza the will be on offer.

This is a school community event, but we also welcome extended family. Bring everyone along and join in the fun. There will be lots to do as we celebrate another wonderful year at Ormond Primary.

Mark the date in your calendar and book your tickets at trybooking. Tickets are now available. Purchase your tickets before Friday 8th November and you will go into the running for an Early-bird prize! 

Prices are:    

• $20 - Family  (For immediate family only. Those wishing to bring extended family, friends or other children you are more than welcome however, please purchase tickets accordingly)
• Single Adult  -  $8
• Single Child  -  $5

Volunteers Needed

Lending a hand with the end-of-year Bush Picnic and Dance Party would be a great way the round out 2013.

Lucky Jars

This is always a favourite amongst the children, so we thought it would be great to have a lucky jar stall at the end-of-year Bush Picnic and Dance Party, so we are calling every family to make up a Lucky Jar or two.

All you need to do is grab an ordinary jar (with label removed) and fill it with things that children would like to receive, for example:

• toy cars
• toy animals
• stickers
• hair ties
• dominos
• textas
• playing cards

or any other creative things you can think of. There will drop off points and days for these items, further details in future newsletters.
