Basketball Final

On Monday afternoon the Ormond Mixed Basketball Team stayed at school to play the district finals against St Brigid’s. In the first half Ormond took an early lead with 12 points to St Brigid’s 2. At half time St Brigid’s managed to catch up and the ended the first half ahead. It was a close game all the way to the end. With thirty seconds to go Ormond lead by 2 points. St Brigid’s managed to put on 6 points to lead by four. Just then Josh scored 2 points putting Ormond just 2 points behind! Unfortunately, time was up with margin 2 points in St Brigid’s favour. The star players were Ben, and Josh for scoring most of our points. We would like to thank all the parents, teachers and kids who came to watch and support us.
