P&C Update Term 3, Week 2

Back to School

Welcome back to school everyone, I hope everyone had a fun and safe break.

Term 3

There are a lot of events on this term. We have parent/teacher interviews, Koomurri Incursion, Education Week, Book Week, Year 5 & 6 Camps, the P&C Father’s Day Stall and School Administration and Support Staff Recognition Week. It sounds like a very busy term. Let's come together and have some fun.

School Markings

The school captains' school markings project, is a ‘Cowpasture Community Initiatives Project’ for Playground A. The School Captains, Sarah (Vice President) and I (President) have met with two prospective companies and we are moving forward with the next steps in this project. Our School Captains are planning a 'Basketball Shootout' fundraising event this term. We hope to see more fundraising activities to help raise money to go towards the school markings.

P&C Meeting

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 2nd August in the school PL Room which is located behind the Kindergarten block and in front of the Support Unit Playground.

When you come to the meeting you will hear firsthand what is happening at the school.

During meetings you will have a chance to be involved and share your ideas or opinions in what the P&C plans are for the upcoming terms.

Paid members can vote to help decide what the P&C does and how we spend the funds.

You can always see when our next meeting is on in the newsletter, either in the P&C update or the important dates section.

Term 3

Here’s a sneak peek into what the P&C has planned for Term 3:

-SASS Recognition Week (Term 3, Week 7).

-Planning and discussing details regarding the school markings (Term 3, Term 4).

-Two P&C meetings to plan some more events for Term 4.

We would also love to hear your ideas on how we can all support our school community.

Stay tuned for keep up to date information regarding the P&C.
