Every year, the NSW Minister’s and Secretary’s Awards for Excellence acknowledges and celebrates outstanding achievement across NSW public education. With support from the Public Education Foundation, 165 awards were bestowed to public school teachers, students, and parents at a ceremony in Sydney Town Hall.

Of the 40 award recipients for excellence in student achievement in 2023 is our Year 12 student, Josephine Wiredu.

Merrylands High School is proud to present our graduating class of 2023, a remarkable group of young individuals who have shown incredible resilience and determination throughout their educational journey. These students have demonstrated outstanding leadership, creativity, and a strong sense of community.
