Year 6 in Profile

Public Speaking and debating is a great way to boost a student’s confidence andimagination. When we do public speaking, in Seniors, we love to use our imagination and use all of our skills and knowledge to create a speech. It's a really great way to let your imaginative side takeover and improve your thinking skills. 

As we get into Year 6, we do a debate to determine if the students in our class will go and compete with other schools. As someone who was in the cluster debating team representing Holy Family, it is really fun and I was so pleased to be chosen to represent Holy Family. Senior School offers so many great opportunities for learning and for us to grow and become the best we can be.

Hi, I'm Kyle, and I'm in Year 6 in Senior School. I love being at Holy Family because of

 the many Mathematics opportunities it provides. In Senior School, we have an amazing Maths teacher who helps us shine and show our talents. My favourite thing is the Maths Olympiad and Maths Games, which are like critical thinking problems that help us see where we are at in our own Maths journey. I love how we are all able to learn at our own level, and I really enjoy the thrill of having thirty minutes to frantically try to solve all the questions. When we get our answers back, we learn where we excelled and where we need to improve. Come join us in Senior School for great fun and Maths learning!
