Think Win Win

When implementing the Habit - Think Win Win there is a simple way to do this in your family. Having your child experience the difference between “making them do chores” and “empowering them to contribute to the family.” While both approaches get the job done, the first is focused on task completion, while the second is focused on learning and practising leadership and responsibility.

Ask your child:

What family leadership role are you interested in?

What leadership qualities do you have that will help you fill that role?

Work together to discuss, write, and sign a Win-Win Agreement detailing the leadership role behaviours and expectations. Finally, discuss how it’s going, make adjustments, express appreciation, and celebrate success!

Next week is Wellbeing Week!

No Home Learning will be sent home - enjoy the break and Sharpen the Saw.

Wednesday 30th August will be Pyjama Day - students may come to school dressed in their Pyjamas with sneakers/runners - no ugg boots or slippers.
