Year 7 

Jenni Screen is a professional Basketballer and who has a career that spans 16 years in multiple countries and with two Olympic Medals (Silver 2008 & Bronze 2012) & a World Championship (Gold 2006) with the Australian Women’s Basketball Team and The Opals. Jenni now finds herself with a Masters degree and currently working in the Sports industry consulting and coaching at many levels.  Jenni also stays involved with Sport sitting on multiple Boards including the International Basketball Federations (FIBA) Players Commission since 2014.  She also is a commentator with Fox Sports in the WNBL.  Jenni is also an advocate for Athlete Well-being & Transition.

Jenni delivered a presentation to the year 7 cohort as part of their Pastoral Care Program. The concept was to help students realise the importance of goal setting and working towards reaching their own potential.

Jenni reflected on the high and lows of her basketball career and the strategies implemented to tackle problems and succeeding in her basketball endeavours.
