Managing Anxiety during Lockdown

If you’re feeling anxious or worried during this time, you’re not alone. Anxiety is normal, and in some cases it can be helpful. For example, research during past pandemics show that people who worry are more likely to do the things that help to keep the virus at bay, like frequent handwashing.

The Stand Tall online event aims to promote and support the mental wellbeing of Australian secondary school students. Stand Tall is a TEDx-style event aimed especially at secondary school students which brings together a range of diverse speakers who share their experiences of facing adversity, achieving their goals and changing their lives. It is about building hope and resilience. It has been running since 2013.
