Back to Remote Learning...

As the state goes into lockdown we’ve had to adapt to the virtual format for learning.  Compared to the previous lockdowns, this time it has been an easier transition off-site with the majority of the student body having been through this before.

One of the larger changes when we have gone remote is shorter sessions, from 75 minutes to only 60 minutes. This additional 15 minutes to the break time is well utilised by everyone from catching up on work to having a longer refreshing break. Unfortunately, this movement to remote learning has been especially disruptive for us, as exams and exam prep have all been impacted by this change. Our Communicate and Relate exams and any VCE 1 & 2 exams have all been pushed back a week. But our Math exams will take place online.

Everyone who is going on the Reef & Rainforest trip at the end of term are waiting in anticipation to see whether it goes ahead, due possible border closures. Sadly, our Year 9 & 10 Wellbeing Day was postponed. Hopefully we will be able to run it soon when we are back on site. We hope everyone is staying safe during these hard times and we hope the lockdown is lifted soon.
