Australian U/21 Country Hockey Team

National Titles

Congratulations to Molly Klix  - Year 12, and Kahlua Smart (Year 12- 2021), who were both selected for the Australian U/21 Hockey Team at the National Championships in Perth last week.

They will be going to Indonesia in January to compete against other nations.

State Titles

The senior girls hockey team played inspired hockey on Tuesday at the State Titles held at the Footscray Hockey Centre. The girls played 3 matches, each 40 minutes long, coming away with 2 wins and one loss. This meant they finished 2nd in their pool and 3rd overall.

BHS d Princes Hill Secondary College 3-0 (goals C. Jones, Z. Pearce, S. Goodie)

Chairo Community College d BHS 3-1  (goal C. Jones). 

Chairo CC had  defeated Frankston and Prices Hill by margins of 10-0 and 9-1 respectively. Chairo CC went on to be State gold medalists – winning 10-0!!

It was pleasing to see the effort and support from all the girls during the day.
