Drawing Club

Last Wednesday, we began a drawing club at playtime. So many students were keen to go that we had to split everyone into two groups and have the juniors join for one week and seniors the next. 

This week, the junior school children joined us as we learned how to draw a dog and a pig! 

Some year five students (Noopoti, Gurpreet, Goai, Mercy, Jessica and Simon) came and helped out. When I asked them how they thought the activity went, the year 5's said it was a great turnout; the juniors had a great time and did some fantastic drawings!

We look forward to seeing what the senior students will draw this week.

PS. Ms Drossaert said with so many children at the Drawing Club and a host of children training for Athletics, she only supervised about two children on the basketball court during second play!

In other words, isn't it fantastic to see so many of our children engaged in fun, fulfilling activities at lunchtime?
