Year 12 Standard Maths 2

Our second topic of HSC content has been focusing on Rates and Ratios. This has involved looking at our heart rate at rest and after exercise.

We were able to take advantage of the glorious weather Molong has been blessing us with and headed outside to take part in some practical.

Students were required to measure their heart rate at rest, complete a 25-minute brisk walk, remeasure their heart rate straight after their walk, 2 minutes after and then 5 minutes after. It was interesting to see some of the interesting walking styles adopted by Year 12 and I was extremely proud of the class when it came to assisting others with timing and measuring.
