News

Another action-packed week this week. I have finally relented and accepted that Christmas is upon us by putting some Christmas lights up in the room. We have been busy with various things in the classroom, including dance practice, Social Enterprise, photo collages and Christmas crafts to start later this week. Our grade six students have had their transition day at the various secondary colleges and I'm looking forward to the graduation for this lot next week!

Religion

For the last two weeks, we have been moving through our Term 4 unit, The Birth of Jesus, The Messiah. We have looked at the Gospel of Matthew and Luke in relation to the birth of Jesus and compared these with the Christmas carol "We Three Kings". Students are considering what the birth of Jesus means to Christians at this time.

Social Enterprise

Students will have another trading day at the End of Year Celebration on Wednesday night. They have been working away in the kitchen preparing products for sale on the night.

Stride for Education

I am pleased to announce that the 4/5/6 students have raised a whopping $2175.40 between them. This figure is a credit to the students and the support of their families and friends.

Grade 6 Photos

A reminder to assist your child in bringing some photos in for their photo collage.

Have a great week everyone!
