Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week
Every year on 26 May, National Sorry Day remembers and acknowledges the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, which we now know as ‘The Stolen Generations’.
National Sorry Day is a day to acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generations Survivors and reflect on how we can all play a part in the healing process for our people and nation.
Below are two videos that you can share with your family to begin discussions aroound 'Sorry Day'.
NAIDOC Week
Each year week we regcognise Naidoc Week during week 1 of term 3. Details on our plans for 2023 NAIDOC week will be made available before the end of the term in the newsletter.
Camp Quality
Monday 22nd May
All students in Foundation to Grade 3 will be involved in the program. Details are in Sentral.
There is no cost but we would like to make a donation to the program you can do so by having your child give their donation to their teacher on Monday morning.
Camp, Swimming and Excursions Fund (CSEF)
Buenos Dias Parents and Carers.
Any families that hold a valid Concession Card are eligible for CSEF.
Eligible families can apply for CSEF by obtaining a form from the office. This form needs to be filled out and submitted with an attached copy of your Concession Card by no later than the 21st of June 2023.
Please note: This cut-off date is enforced by the Department of Education and Training. Office staff are unable to accept any applications submitted after this date.
