Year 5-6 Learning Community

By Emma Parkinson

We have had a busy and engaging start to the year in the Year 5/6 Learning Community. Students enjoyed engaging in a variety of activities to break up the usual classroom learning.

Below is a list of some of the activities the 5/6 Learning Community have been offered. Our most notable would have to be the Year 5/6 Camp to Ballarat. Proud is the first word that comes to mind, as our students represented our College Values to a high standard. While participating in the adventure activities at Log Cabin Camp, they all showed bravery and courage in their attempts at the challenging activities including; zip lines, leap of faith and the giant swing. It was a pleasure to watch them encouraging each other and working so well as a part of a team.
