There is a great buzz in the MRC this week due to the fantastic heritage display, “Classrooms Then and Now”.  This display has been curated by our archivist Ms Olivia Parkinson and assisted by Ms Fabiola Salvo.  On display are past photographs, artefacts, school uniforms and a video taken during the time of 1956 – 1961.  The students are so engaged and has seen them appreciating the special history of our school.

Next week we are launching our “Working Wednesdays” in the MRC at lunchtime.  During Wednesday lunchtimes, the MRC will be a quiet working space for students to study and work.  This request has come from the Student Leadership and we fully support this initiative.

Yr 7 & 8 Humanities classes have been utilizing the MRC for their research assignments on Ancient Egypt and the Renaissance.  They have been learning efficient research and location skills and bibliographies.

Happy Reading!
