Susan McLean - Cyber Safety

On Tuesday 9th May Susan McLean presented a cyber safety sessions to our Yr 9 students and then an evening session for Yr 7 students and parents. The use of technology is a massive part of our lives and therefore being cyber safe is a very important issue. Susan’s knowledge was extremely valuable as she was able to provide an insight into the laws, as well as tips and guidance for both students and parents on how to use technology in a safe manner.

High Rise Bakery

Yr 10 students explored local food initiatives involving the Fitzroy community as part of their study of sustainable food production. A wonderful group of bakers called High Rise cook bread at affordable prices for the community in a pizza oven at the Atherton Towers. The students worked the oven, ground the flour and toured the beautiful veggie garden. They then enjoyed a warm bagel on the way back to school after all their hard work!
