CROSS COUNTRY

Congratulations to the students that participated in the Divisional Cross Country today Wednesday 31 May, representing Wembley PS. We thank Jonathan Gill and Renee Johnson, for supporting the students, and the parents/family members that attended in support of the students! We are very proud of the effort, team work and persistence demonstrated by the students today. ABSOLUTE SUPERSTARS!

PB	Leo I	For your incredible commitment to your reading! You are now consistently seeking meaning and self-correcting, and this has helped your reading really take off! I am so proud of all of your efforts, well done Leo!
PC	Ava B	For answering questions in a respectful manner during our Fire Safety Incursion. Ava, you set such a wonderful example to your peers about how to interact with others in such a positive way. I am so proud of you!
PD	Eila H	For the fantastic effort that she put into her retell of “Who Sank the Boat”. Eila it has been wonderful to see your confidence when writing just grow and grow. You know how to spell all your keyring words now, and always stretch out any unfamiliar words and record the sounds that you hear. You are incredible. Keep up the amazing work!
PE	Alina D	For your fantastic "Who Sank the Boat" writing. You did a wonderful job sounding out words like 'boat' and sinking'. Well done and keep up the amazing effort!
1A	Tilly M	For showing fantastic persistence when solving some number sequences this week. You were able to identify the rule using your rock to count on from numbers above a hundred and identify the final digit pattern. You are an absolute superstar! Keep up the great work, Tilly!
1B	Archer B	For always being a fantastic listener, Archer always comes to the floor in a calm and respectful manner. This allows Archer to have clarity around what a task expects of him and he has been producing some wonderful classwork. Well done Arch!
1C	Oliver	For his hard work in learning number patterns when counting above 100. It has been wonderful to see your confidence in maths blossom Olly. Congratulations!
1D	Emilia V	For always challenging herself and giving things a go. Emilia, you have a wonderful growth mindset. Keep up the amazing work!
2A	Isadora D	For her wonderful efforts finding patterns when skip counting. Isa, you have been working very hard on your number sequences, skip counting using repeated addition and identifying the final digit pattern. Keep up the amazing work!
2B	Ava T	For being a positive role model within the classroom. Well done Ava! You consistently demonstrate the Wembley values and always try your best. It is wonderful to see you modelling these behaviours for your peers. Amazing work, keep it up!
2C	Dion Z	For showing amazing resilience and independence this term. Dion, I’m super proud of the way you have refused to give up and pushed through when feeling challenged. Keep up your incredible work superstar!
2D	Lachie H	For showing excellent resilience by coming to school with an injury and still doing your best to learn. Lachie, you have been doing a fantastic job at listening to instructions and showing respect towards others. Well done!
3A	Andy T	For your incredibly hard work preparing and rehearsing for your Fascinating Facts presentation on Supernovas. Andy, you’ve been taking on learning challenges with a growth mindset and proven to be an organised and successful learner. You should be very proud of all your efforts, keep it up!
3B	Iris O	For being a reliable, hardworking and kindhearted member of 3B. Iris, you always show our school values and show a growth mindset, constantly improving in all areas of your learning. 4B	Nessie T	For her hard work and dedication to her learning as well as being a fabulous human who always displays the Wembley Values. You are such a wonderful role model in 4B Nessie! Keep up the wonderful work!
4C	Hazel D	For showing your integrity and consistently aiming to do the right thing. Hazel, you are such a great role model for your classmates and always show the Wembley Values of inclusion, empathy, respect and resilience in everything that you do. We are very lucky to have you in our class!
4D	Florin U	For always being a role-model for the Wembley Values. In the classroom, you always give your best effort, listen respectfully and find ways to help out. Your attitude this year has been absolutely superb and I could not ask for anything more! Congratulations Florin, you deserve it!
5A	Amelia H	For creating an informative and engaging writing piece about Arctic Foxes. Amelia, your writing included all of the organisational skills that we have learnt about and also had plenty of interesting and strong vocabulary. Great work!

4B	Carter T	For his hard work and persistence in his writing assessment. Carter, you showed great writing endurace in completing your 'Lost' narrative, and then you took the time and care to revise and edit your work. Keep up the amazing effort!
4C	Jet L	For your consistently positive attitude towards your learning and your classmates and your ability to accept when things are hard and adapt to challenges. Jet, you are a role model for all of the Wembley values and always put a smile on other people’s faces. Well done!
4D	Harry M	For putting great effort into your learning and showing your Wembley Values. You have been responsible in the classroom this year, especially when it comes to extending your math knowledge!
