Parents' Association
Thank you to everyone who attended our Term 3 Parents’ Association meeting last Tuesday. We are pleased to announce that both the funding proposals presented were successful:
- Drones & Controllers for the STEM Drone Club $8000.00
- Primary sporting equipment $5440.00
Our next meeting will be held on Monday 14 November at 7pm: it will be our AGM and our 2023 Parent Association Committee will be elected. The Term 4 Funding Proposal Form deadline is 5pm on Friday 28 October.
Expressions of Interest: New Inspire Representatives – Primary & Secondary
The Inspire program at JTC was instigated in 2013 in response to a request from the College Leadership to promote more parent engagement and to address arising social issues affecting the students and their parents/guardians.
We are looking to appoint two new Inspire representatives: one each for Primary and Secondary. Inspire representatives seek to provide high quality presenters with excellent reputations in their field. The successful candidates will work with College Leadership to seek presenters / educators that support the curriculum of the students, ensure the correct procedure for Funding Submissions is followed and report back to the PA meeting each term.
